What do you need to get this position?

Technically

  • theoretical knowledge of manual testing (being familiar with ISTQB topics)
  • knowledge of at least one of the following techniques: BDD, TDD, ATDD
  • understanding processes and tools used by the development team
  • practice in planning tests (defining the aspects to be tested and possible edge cases)
  • practice in using bug reporting tools
  • understanding the requirements described in user stories, the ability to acquire missing data
  • experience with defining and refining requirements
  • great self-organization skills, ability to switch between QA and Business Analyst roles
  • practice in reporting arrangements with the client and to the team (paying attention to clear communication between the client and development team)
  • command of English on B2+ level

Nice-to-haves

  • basic knowledge of Gherkin
  • knowledge of UX - ability to present alternative solutions; familiarity with good practices and standards in product development
  • ability to identify the inaccuracies in user stories and to propose relevant solutions
