What do you need to get this position?
Technically
- theoretical knowledge of manual testing (being familiar with ISTQB topics)
- knowledge of at least one of the following techniques: BDD, TDD, ATDD
- understanding processes and tools used by the development team
- practice in planning tests (defining the aspects to be tested and possible edge cases)
- practice in using bug reporting tools
- understanding the requirements described in user stories, the ability to acquire missing data
- experience with defining and refining requirements
- great self-organization skills, ability to switch between QA and Business Analyst roles
- practice in reporting arrangements with the client and to the team (paying attention to clear communication between the client and development team)
- command of English on B2+ level
Nice-to-haves
- basic knowledge of Gherkin
- knowledge of UX - ability to present alternative solutions; familiarity with good practices and standards in product development
- ability to identify the inaccuracies in user stories and to propose relevant solutions
