The client

Cybersixgill is a global leader in the cybersecurity sector, specializing in deep and dark web threat intelligence. This Israeli company operates an expansive intelligence data lake and uses advanced AI to identify and alert teams to emerging cyber threats.

Cybersixgill scans through the deep dark web, which handles transactions equivalent to the world’s third-largest economy, and collects and exposes the earliest indications of risk by threat actors moments after they surface.

Challenge

Cybersixgill’s decision makers recognized the need for a new, effective, user-friendly, and esthetically pleasing website that would streamline their brand story, improve their brand visibility, and effectively articulate their offerings. The company was seeking a reliable partner to revamp their online presence in order to strengthen their lead generation and thought leadership initiatives.

One of the biggest challenges was the deadline we had - company stakeholders wanted to launch the website during a key industry event.

Why Boldare?

Boldare was referred to the Cybersixgill stakeholders by Eclipse - a UK-based design agency who also worked together with Boldare to deliver designs for the website.

Solution

Our collaboration generally begins with product discovery workshops, a tried and true method for understanding the business challenges, needs, and product expectations of our clients. During these workshops, we break down the stakeholders’ provided scope into four categories:

  • Must-haves: Non-negotiable features crucial for the minimum viable product (MVP).
  • Should-haves: Important elements ideally included in the second version after the MVP.
  • Nice-to-haves: Lesser priorities that could be added in a subsequent product release.
  • Not now: Interesting initiatives, not immediately necessary.

This approach allows us to create a detailed roadmap and scope of work necessary to meet the project’s goals. Considering the volume of work, we assembled a dedicated cross-disciplinary team that included two frontend developers, a product designer, a DevOps engineer, a Scrum master, and a QA engineer. Our client contributed a dedicated product designer and a copywriter, in conjunction with the Eclipse agency.

Boldare and Eclipse collaborated on Cybersixgill’s web design. Eclipse took charge of the comprehensive brand communication and focused on the design system. Meanwhile, Boldare developed the user journeys, established the information structure, and designed both the wireframes and the UI.

One of the client’s requirements for the new site was to choose a technology that would allow management of the site’s appearance similar to the Elementor website builder in WordPress. After conducting research, our team suggested Storyblok CMS to the client, as it enables the creation of new custom pages using all sections we had designed and implemented for them.

We were also tasked with ensuring that the final product was search engine optimization (SEO) friendly, as the client’s existing webpage housed a significant array of materials and blog posts - key traffic drivers for the company. Integration with HubSpot was another critical element of the project. The new Cybersixgill website also met the client’s specific performance requirements.

Together, our team, Eclipse, and the Cybersixgill product owner built a website with a unique look, using customized frontend code based on the Storyblok CMS. Our collective efforts provided a comprehensive infrastructure for product delivery, encompassing a code repository, hosting, continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD), UI/UX design, and project management. Despite working across four different time zones between Israel, Poland, the United States and the United Kingdom, we delivered a high-functioning website. This website effectively tells the brand’s story and features improved key website elements.

Our tech stack included Vue.js 3, Nuxt.js 3, Tailwind CSS, TypeScript, and Storyblok (CMS).
